Marquee Landing Page & Marketing Assets

Over the course of 2020, I had the opportunity to work on several projects for Spotify for Artists, an offshoot of the Spotify master brand that served as a platform for artists. There was increased visual emphasis on experimentation and expression, while still feeling Spotify branded. Although the toolkit had already been established, I was able to expand and adapt upon it as we continued to develop materials for the sub-brand.

Initially I began by creating printed marketing collateral for Marquee — a full-screen, sponsored recommendation of new artist's releases to Spotify Free and Premium listeners who have shown interest in their music and have the potential to listen more. These printed projects helped me get more comfortable with the Spotify for Artist and Marquee visual systems. I eventually found myself designing the Marquee Landing Page, a platform which helps introduce artists to the potential Marquee service has to offer.

Over the next few months I continued to support Spotify for Artists — designing social media ads, newsletters, LinkedIn assets, blog posts, as well as email images and additional printed marketing materials. The Spotify for Artists projects were visually exciting, and a nice alternative to the Spotify Premium world I had been accustomed to.
