Philanthropic & Cultural Print Design
Art Direction, Graphic Design, Production
This collection features print projects created in support of philanthropic and cultural organizations, with an emphasis on editorial clarity, material craft, and visual restraint. Each project required developing a thoughtful design language that respected the subject matter while supporting fundraising and outreach goals.
For Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, I designed a suite of printed materials for the International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, an annual fundraising event benefiting patient care and research. With limited source material provided, the visual direction was developed from a single reference image, informing the tone and pacing across the brochure, invitations, response cards, and custom envelopes. The work emphasized refinement, clarity, and attention to detail, aligning with the prestige of the event and its mission.
For the Bachmann-Strauss Dystonia & Parkinson Foundation, I designed an annual report centered on the theme Breaking Barriers, reflecting the organization’s work across scientific research, global collaboration, and patient advocacy. The visual approach focused on progress and optimism, combining typography, layout, and imagery with careful consideration of paper, printing, and production execution. Supporting materials included custom mailing components and a digital adaptation of the report for broader distribution. Across both projects, the goal was to translate complex, deeply human missions into cohesive editorial design rooted in care, sensitivity, and craft.
