I worked across multiple initiatives for Spotify for Artists, contributing to the evolution of visual systems supporting Marquee, Spotify’s sponsored recommendation product for artist releases. The work operated within a sub-brand that encouraged greater experimentation and expression while remaining clearly connected to the Spotify master brand.
Building on an established toolkit, I helped adapt and expand the visual language across a range of touchpoints, beginning with printed marketing materials and extending into digital platforms. This included designing the Marquee landing page, which introduced artists to the product and its potential impact, as well as supporting assets across social, email, newsletters, blog content, and print. Each execution balanced clarity and approachability with a more expressive design sensibility, tailored to an audience of artists rather than listeners.
The projects required thoughtful interpretation of the Spotify for Artists system, applying flexibility without dilution, and ensuring consistency across formats and channels. Together, the work reflected a shift toward a more exploratory visual tone while maintaining cohesion within the broader Spotify ecosystem.
